A really nice walk today from the pretty village of Chartham, nr Canterbury. Ken, our leader, took us along the path beside the River Stour, before heading through orchards to our sunny snack-break stop in a hop field. From there, we passed through Blean Nature Reserve to Chartham Hatch. We then walked through a fruit growing farm, with some fantastic views in all directions, before descending down to Chartham, where we finished off our walk by crossing a weir beside a converted Mill before entering Chartham by the village green. Thank you, Ken for leading, Ron for back-marking, and Jennifer for the photos.
