Back

I think that today's walkers could be described as intrepid, as we set off from Lewson Street, in wind with gusts up to 44 MPH! If you disregarded the wind, it was actually a nice day, mild, blue skies and sunny in parts.

With Barbara at the helm and with Ron back-marking, we had a very enjoyable 7.25 mile walk through a varied countryside, fields, woods, lanes and orchards.

A welcome visit to the pub at the end, where it was nice to relax, get out of the wind and enjoy a pint.

Thank you Barbara for leading us, Ron for back-marking and Jennifer, Dave and Ron for the photos.
