Led by Kevin, this was a very different and enjoyable walk. The weather was kind for November, with sunshine and a light breeze. We started by enjoying the views across the Swale to Shellness and Harty on Sheppey, with the Thames forts clearly visible out at sea plus the London Array wind turbines. We then crunched our way along the beach over the cockle shells past the beach huts. Flocks of Brent geese entertained us with their honking and we saw sanderlings, oyster catchers and terns in abundance. On to Faversham Creek, Oare Creek and the Shipwrights Arms, Standard quay with Thames barges, canal boats and many other craft, in all states of repair.    Lots more photos on Facebook
