THIS SATURDAY'S WALK. 19th October. Prompt 10 am start. RYE. 8 Miles. Walk leader - Graham.

 Why not join Graham on this venture just across the Sussex border, for an enjoyable walk from Rye Railway Station, Station Approach, Rye, TN31 7AB (accessible by train - 9.24 am from Ashford, arrives 9.46 am).
Suggested parking - Railway Station car park (£2.90 whole day), or Rye market car park, Rope Walk, TN31 7NA / TQ922206, (£2 whole day).
Circular walk along the Undercliff towards Winchelsea, then via Pelsham to Peasmarsh Church for a packed lunch, which also has a toilet. Returning along the High Weald Landscape Trail to Rye. Interesting walk with lots of views. Not suitable for dogs. Mostly easy walking with only three stiles. Some hills, but not too many, a bit of road walking mostly on quiet lanes and plenty of scenic views.
There are many coffee shops and pubs in Rye afterwards.
